Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to a critical commentator who says that immigrants do not have to vote by mail, but should come to Albania and vote.

The commentator says that manipulations will be made by mail, but Prime Minister Rama responds by listing several facts, according to which, according to him, immigrants are more clear-headed than the Albanians who live here.

The head of government says that immigrants appreciate the difference between what they see when they arrive and what they saw when they arrived last time.

The Prime Minister promised that in 2030 he will lead Albania to the top and it will be part of the EU as an equal among equals.

"In fact, I think that immigrants know it well, and the vast majority of them are more clear-sighted than us in at least three fundamental things. The first is that they are more clear-sighted in assessing the level of progress of Albania, because on the one hand they certainly don't have the same daily life here, but they have the opportunity to appreciate the difference between what they see when they come and what they saw when they came last time.

Secondly, immigrants have no illusions about life where they are and often don't even understand our complaints, about the fact that cafes and restaurants are full, but those who sit around more complain that there is no bread, water and roads. Immigrants work hard, often working two jobs. There are no cousins ​​and in-laws, no party and no work in the state or I fell and died. Immigrants pay bills after bills and get very tired to cope with the costs that have increased in Europe compared to the salaries they receive.

Third, immigrants know how to value Albania's image and reputation abroad more than we do, which until yesterday was considered a disgrace because they were seen as coming from a land of devils. While today they are saying every day with their mouths full that "I am from Albania", because we have given Albania a dignity that it has never had in the outside world and we will raise it to the top of 2030 as an equal among equals, not only in relations because we have achieved this today, but also at the table of the united European family. Immigrants know very well what they have to do and you will see that they will do it", said Rama.
