The deputy of the Democratic Party, Tritan Shehu, has stated that the Freedom Party, which is led by Ilir Meta, will not be in a coalition with other opposition parties where the Reestablishment candidates for mayors will also enter.
He said during an interview in "A2" that PL will support the opposition candidates, but Meta cannot be in the coalition because they have come up with lists for municipal councilors and not for mayors, and in this way the law does not allow it.
"Meta is not part of the coalition. There are other parties. Without a doubt, Meta and the Freedom Party will support our candidates in all the country's municipalities and this has been declared. They have not come up with lists for mayors. But they have come out with separate lists for advisers. According to the law, Meta cannot be part of this coalition", said Shehu.
Two days ago, Meta said that with his party's logo he will register all the candidates who emerged from the Primaries process, referring to the agreement signed a few weeks ago with Sali Berisha.
