The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has gathered the parliamentary group in the blue headquarters, after today's session with harsh tones in the Assembly, where the opposition had requested an interview with the Prime Minister Edi Rama about the "McGonigal" scandal, but the latter did not appear in the hall.

The meeting of the group started with the speech of Luciano Boçi, who announced that they have collected 45 signatures from the DP deputies to request the establishment of the investigative commission in relation to this issue. At the meeting of Berisha's Parliamentary Group, Boçi said that they will not stop his action, although Rama did not go to the assembly to speak about the case of the FBI official, Charles McGonigal.

Sources indicate that the deputies of both sides of the Democratic Party have signed for the establishment of the Investigative Commission.

"They rejected the motion with debate as they did last week. They refused to participate in the interpellation, but our action does not end here. We requested the establishment of the investigative commission. More than 45 firms have been gathered. The head of the SP group has stated that the request will be rejected. while the constitutional court has clearly stated that the rise cannot be stopped by the Parliament" , said Boçi.
