Today's plenary session in the Parliament of Albania continues to be chaotic. The opposition MPs have blocked the pulpit and demand the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama to account for the McGonigal case.

In his speech, the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla asked the opposition deputies that if they really want a motion with debate on the case of the former senior FBI official, they should respect their procedures and requests. for changing the agenda to be considered at the Conference of Chairmen.

However, according to Balla, the opposition is not concerned about the investigations being carried out in the USA, since according to him, no Albanian official is involved in them. On the contrary, according to him, the opposition is trying to divert attention from January 21 and Gërdeci. Balla brought to attention that while the plenary session was held a week ago, the son of the chief democrat Sali Berisha was called to SPAK.

"They are not worried about the investigation in the USA, because there is no Albanian official under investigation in that investigation. Berisha's son was in front of SPAK a week ago. Your every attempt to divert attention from the investigation of January 21, from the investigation of Gërdec is a futile effort. We continue to be in a situation like this when we cannot get the word out."
