The opposition protest seems to be coming to an end, as traffic for cars has been reopened in some of the 5 points where the opposition gathered.
The situation appears to have de-escalated after police fired water cannons and tear gas, forcing the protesters to disperse to the Wilson Square area.
The secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, has also commented on the clash he had with the police chief, Sokol Bizhga.
"These policemen are supposed to fight crime, but they are brought here to fight citizens. Because their leaders are representatives of organized crime and government corruption. Our way is civil disobedience.
A bandit, whose name is Sokol Bizhga and who will give an account one by one, turned to me and said you don't have permission. Who is this birbo asking for permission. The organized crime boss sitting there like a dead mouse will give an account one by one. This villain, this bandit", he said during a speech for Top News.
