The closed-door meeting of the National Council of the Democratic Party has been accompanied by controversy between the early supporters of Sali Berisha and the former people of Lulzim Basha who have now become "partisans" of the chief democrat.

Myslim Murrizi was one of the members of the Council who expressed his displeasure with the way Gazment Bardhi, Agron Gjekmarkaj or even Jorida Tabaku approached PD again.

Bardhi fought the strongest battle in the Parliament of Albania, against Rama. Gjekmarkaj has spoken more than anyone against the political arrest of Sali Berisha, here and in international institutions.
