The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, made strong accusations this Wednesday on the affair of the trafficking of hundreds of containers with hazardous waste from the port of Durrës to Thailand.

According to Berisha, we are dealing 100% with "a criminal traffic of the Albanian authorities with toxic substances and poisons". Berisha says that initially the government deceived Albanians by declaring that they are waste from the Kurum company that operates in Elbasan, but the latter has denied having taken waste out of the country.

"Today, this large enterprise with almost 30 years of activity in Elbasan, declared that those wastes have nothing to do with the Kurumi plant. So those wastes, says Kurumi, are not related to the plant, but the documentation is filled out as if they belong to Kurumi.

So look at what a government, a trafficker, a shameful counterfeiter. Look what they do. Look at what Edi Rama does for his businesses. Look at what Edi Rama does with the traffic he does with poisons and toxins. He takes the name, falsifies documents and exports them, as if they belong to a private enterprise", said Berisha.

According to the former prime minister, it is Rama himself who is in charge of this operation, who has led the ministry to deceive, who has made SHISH to remain silent together with the police and SPAK.

"Who can order the criminal organization headed by Duman to be silent as a blade of grass, in front of an activity which in the law and in the code, contains a serious crime. It takes a whole group to transport poisons, toxic and dangerous waste from Albania.

Who can force the National Intelligence Service to remain silent, which in its law, among other things, has as its object serious environmental crimes. Who can force the customs to keep quiet about over 100 containers that were shipped with poisonous substances. Who can force the State Police to be silent, Piro Vengu, the port authority to be silent. No other authority can do this except for Edi Rama, the thief of Gjipe", said Berisha.
