Berisha appeals to the democrats for February 11: Let's do everything for
Sali Berisha

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting with the democrats of branches 8 and 10. During his speech at this meeting, the chief democrat Berisha gave some instructions for the February 11 protest called by the opposition.

Chief Democrat Berisha has emphasized that everything must be done for the protest, which according to him will be the strongest that Albania and Tirana have known in decades, as he added that Albanians from all four corners of the world are waiting for this protest, wherever they are.

"We have to save the country. Let's save Albania and pluralism. Edi Rama will get what he deserves. We must make him a cursed Albanian for Albania. Therefore, and these 2 days that are left, regardless of the climatic conditions, let's do everything for the most powerful protest that Tirana and Albania have known in decades. Albanians from all four corners of the world are waiting for this protest wherever they are", said Berisha.

During his speech, the chief democrat Berisha stated that the DP deputies do not run away from the Parliament as he added that despite everything, the Parliament will function both inside and outside it.

"They do everything for us to run away from the Parliament, but we are not running away from the Parliament, we are not the ones running away. This has turned Parliament into a disgrace that never existed. We in the Parliament will stand with all our strength. Parliament needs the presence of citizens, you will be ready in any case. Parliament will function internally and externally. Parliament cannot be extinguished by them. Parliament is a pillar. This is the situation, so we must take every measure. Opposition means sacrifice and I have complete faith that big and small, what we are opposition people will rise in a battle, which will give a sure victory, give back to the Albanians the right that all peoples have of the Balkans" , said Berisha.

During his speech, Chief Democrat Berisha focused on the case of the former senior FBI official "McGonigal", which he said is a global affair that has shaken the field of security for the USA and NATO and vacancies as a whole.

Berisha accused Rama of doing everything to keep his seat while adding that Rama does not give up power because according to the chief democrat, he only knows the language of force and fear.

"The Rama-McGonigal affair is a global affair that has shaken the security field, not only in bilateral relations, but has shaken this field for the USA, NATO countries, and free countries as a whole. The act that Edi Rama has done, could only be undertaken by a power hostile to the USA. Only an enemy country could afford to corrupt the most valuable man in counter-intelligence, the country most responsible for the security of the world. So in terms of size this exceeds any kind of imagination for a partner country, a free country. Each of you, if you ask yourself the question and you have to, how is it possible for this man to allow himself such an act. There is only one answer, in his evil, Edi Rama knows no limits. There is no norm, no virtue. The man who openly declares that he is capable of performing acts that normal moral people never perform, means that he allows himself any type of act as a function of his power. This constitutes a great, extraordinary disaster for a nation and society. When a prime minister allows himself any act and action to maintain his chair, he is not surrendering power in any way. He knows only one language, the language of strength, the language of fear, and he doesn't run away otherwise."Berisha said.

Berisha emphasized that the main victims of what he calls the "Rama-McGonigal affair" are the democrats, the opposition and pluralism.
