Evis Kushi remembers in the middle of winter about heating in schools

The Minister of Education Evis Kushi has called on local government institutions this Wednesday to take measures to repair the boilers and other heating systems used in schools, in the republic, due to temperatures below 0 degrees.

"[…] we have asked the municipalities to take measures for 51 schools where the heating is done through the electric system, but the load on the network has brought difficulties for their optimal heating. Also, we have informed them to intervene in 21 schools, where the boiler system needs repairs or fuel supply", writes the Minister of Education in her announcement.

However, what stands out in the response is that apart from these schools that have problems with heating, some others are not even equipped with heating systems.

"Regarding the situation on the ground and the continuous reports from the education offices, we have urgently requested the equipment of heating systems for 28 schools from the respective municipalities", continues the announcement of Evis Kushi.

So, the Minister of Education remembers in the middle of the frost and winter about the heating in schools, at a time when the verifications should have been done several months ago, at least in October-November by the directors of these educational institutions and the relevant Education Offices.
