The American Embassy warns its citizens: Avoid large gatherings

The American Embassy has advised its citizens to avoid movements near the Boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit" where the protest called by Sali Berisha will take place.

" A protest is planned to take place on Boulevard Dëshmorët e Kombit, in front of the Prime Minister's Office. This protest has the potential to spill over into the surrounding streets causing traffic jams, diversions and road closures.

US citizens are advised to avoid large gatherings. While many major events unfold peacefully, some situations can change quickly and unpredictably. Monitor local media and follow the instructions of local law enforcement authorities for the latest information ," the US embassy said in a statement.
