The meeting of the official DP parliamentary group, called by Gazment Bardhi, has ended, where 18 MPs were present.

The vice president of the party, Jorida Tabaku, spoke to the media after the meeting, where she said that the PD will start a listening tour with the democrats. When asked if she will take the position of DP chairman, Tabaku said that she is in a consultation phase, without giving a concrete answer.

"There were discussions about tomorrow's session. We cannot act as if nothing happened. The discussions were also related to the situation that is happening in the DP. We have decisions to make, the Albanian Opposition suffered a defeat on May 14 that is one of the most the depths. We really need to understand what has happened. We need to start a tour of listening and a tour of reflection to understand how we can rise again. All MPs have the commitment and the will to get out of this situation. I believe that everything today will be done in consultation with the deputies. I am consulting with the deputies. We must learn from the mistakes of the past." - said Tabaku.
