The Universe As You've Never Seen It: Amazing NASA Telescope Photos That Stunned Science

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful telescope ever launched from Earth, has traveled back over 13 billion years and brought back colorful images of the universe that have stunned everyone.

NASA released breathtaking images. Among them are detailed pictures of a "Nursery of Stars," a sphere of gas around a dying star, and the "Cosmic Dance" among a group of galaxies, not to mention many Earth-like exoplanets. NASA says these images will change the way people see and know the cosmos, and that it changes everything about the genesis of the universe's existence.

The main goals of the telescope include capturing images of the first stars to shine in the Universe and to detect habitable planets beyond our solar system.
