An incident on the theater stage nearly cost the life of "Orange" actor Emir Hoxhaj while he was playing a role a few years ago.
Invited to the show "Hippocrates", the actor recalled the incident when he was injured in the head with a real sword.
"I was acting in a theater, I was on stage and it happened live, my head cracked. We had a scene with real swords, because the director wanted swords with real weight, so that they would make that real noise. It was a war scene. I was really lucky that day, because I had that hat that was like an Illyrian cap. It was for image, it was completely leather. But, since it was too big for me, I put a couple of T-shirts underneath to make it fit better. I can say that those T-shirts may have saved my life. I left the stage, but then I watched the show until the end and then went to the emergency room. The doctor told me you have to stay six hours because you got injured in time. But, I had another show."
The artist recounted two other episodes that forced him to go to the hospital.
"Both episodes happened at the beach. Once when I cracked my head a little and a few years ago I got bitten by a spider. Hospitals actually give me negative energy ," he said.
