The infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape was published by Kim herself, who kept the only copy hidden in a Nike shoe box under her bed along with the rest of the tapes she made with Ray J.

Speaking for the first time about the tape in an interview Ray J said he had never possessed copies of any of the tapes they made together.

He also insists he has never done any of the things Kim claims to have done on the Kardashians new show and was outraged by her suggestion that there might be another video that might be published by him.

"I have been in the shadows for more than 14 years, allowing Kardashians to use my name, abuse my name, make billions of dollars over a decade and talk about a topic I have never talked about. I have never discovered anything. I have never discovered a sex tape in my life. "It has always been an agreement and a partnership between Chris Jenner and Kim and me and we have always been partners from the beginning," he said.

But while Kim claims she did not want to do it, Ray J says the 41-year-old now embraced the idea and asked her mother Chris Jenner to arrange its publication.

Neither Kim nor Chris have commented on the statement.

Ray J now regrets the release of the tape but has not been able to correct the mistake due to the contract he had signed without legal advice. He added that this has damaged his career and relationships and that he was forced to live a lie and now wants the truth to come out in order to tell people - most importantly his three year old daughter Melody that he does not he is "a bad guy who exploits and does not respect women."
