A touching story of an Albanian has gained attention in Germany.

Kadri Mahmuti became a father in Paris in 1979. But when his daughter Hamide was only two years old, her mother decided to move to Portugal, leaving Kadri with the greatest fear of his life: that he would never see his daughter again, writes albinfo.ch.

After decades of searching and hoping, Kadri Mahmuti turned to Julia Leischik's popular German show "Bitte melde dich", which has been helping people reunite with lost family members for years.

And there the miracle happened, Kadriu managed to find his Hamide, experiencing an emotional reunion that only life can write.

The show "Bitte melde dich" is broadcast on the SAT1 channel and brings strong human stories, where fate and the pain of separation often turn into joy and tears of happiness.
