Famous singer arrested and taken to hospital in underwear and cowboy boots on

The famous American singer and Grammy Award winner, Lil Nas X, was arrested by Los Angeles police on Thursday morning, after an unusual incident that has sparked reactions on social networks and international media.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), officers were called to Ventura Boulevard, in the Studio City area, at around 5:30 a.m. (local time), after reports of a person walking down the street in only his underwear and cowboy boots.

After police arrived, the singer, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, reportedly approached the officers aggressively, even allegedly striking one of them, which led to his arrest for assault on a law enforcement officer.

After the arrest, he was rushed to the hospital due to a suspected overdose or an unclear medical condition. After medical treatment, the singer was released from the hospital and transferred to custody, where he is officially charged with a criminal offense against a police officer.

Footage published by the American portal TMZ shows the rapper dancing in the street and calling out to passersby with the words: "Come to the party!"

Lil Nas X was expected to release his second album "Dreamboy" later this year, but there has been no official comment from his representatives about the incident.

Lil Nas X rose to fame in 2019 with the record-breaking hit "Old Town Road," which spent 17 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts. He is also the first openly gay artist to win a Country Music Association award.

Known for his provocative style and strong messages in his music videos, he has often been at the center of criticism from conservative circles in America.
