Renowned singer Enca Haxhiaj has spoken for the first time about her arrest after cultivating narcotic plants in several pots on the balcony of her apartment in Lundër, two years ago.

At that time, the 27-year-old woman stated during her testimony to the police that she had the cannabis for personal use.

Also, while being invited to an interview, Enca stated the same reason, adding, among other things, that she understood the mistake she made.

" To clarify. It was me one day. I'll do this for fun. It was completely out of curiosity and my love for plants. It grew, I realized my mistake, and this matter is over. I remembered," she said on "Goca dhe Gra".

When asked by the moderator if she is a hashish user, the singer emphasized that: " It's a bit of a sensitive topic to discuss in Albania, I consume it whenever I'm in countries where consumption is allowed. We recall that Enca was with her partner, Mickey Neblett, in the apartment when she was arrested by the police.

The police operation codenamed "Balcony" is being finalized, to crack down on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants.
