The seal throws it to the whales

A seal being chased by a pod of orca whales fended off their attack by jumping onto the boat of American photographer Charvet Drucker.

The amateur photographer told the Associated Press that she was taking photos of orcas off the coast of Camano Island in Washington when she noticed the pod showing signs of a hunt.

Just moments later, a seal jumped onto her boat trying to escape their teeth.

Drucker said the orcas left after 20 minutes and the seal jumped into the water as the boat approached shore.
