Well-known singer, Adelina Tahiri has been the 'target' of online media recently. A news item circulated saying that she had given a statement in response to followers regarding her marriage to Serjoza Markov.

"I took the Macedonian man because the Albanians are backward", was the statement that Adelina Tahiri was supposed to have said.

But the truth is not like that at all.

In a statement for "Iconstyle.al", the beautiful singer, who was very worried, said that this quote was not said at all by her mouth. She even totally denied the news.

"I live in a country where politics and people are still very passionate about these topics and can be irritating. I will take action… I have never thought of this in my life when I have a father who is Albanian, an Albanian brother and I myself am Albanian and I have a child who is half Albanian ", she told Iconstyle.al.
