Two people have been detained in Kosovo Polje for giving and receiving bribes in connection with the voting taking place today in the second round of local elections. Citizens in 18 out of 38 municipalities are voting to elect new mayors for their municipalities.

Two suspects arrested in Kosovo Polje for giving and receiving bribes in connection with voting

The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina informs the public that, in the municipality of Fushë Kosovës, by decision of the State Prosecutor, two people have been detained on suspicion of the criminal offense of "Giving and receiving bribes in connection with voting".

During the investigation, a phone was seized, which will serve as evidence in further investigative proceedings.

The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina will undertake all necessary measures and actions in accordance with legal provisions to fully clarify the case.
