She was killed a year ago in Kosovo, the parents of the Argentinian girl reveal
Maria Clara Urdangaray

On August 2, 2023, an Argentinian citizen was killed in Fushë Kosovë. Maria Clara Urdangaray allegedly fell from the height of an object, while the suspect for this crime is her boyfriend, Endrit Nikaj from Drenasi.

Maria Clara's mother, Magdalena, confessed that during the time her daughter was in a relationship with the Kosovar EN, she noticed changes in her behavior.

"What caught my attention during Maria Clara's time in Switzerland were the changes in her appearance. She always took care of herself. Did sports, healthy life. When he moved, I noticed that he changed his hair color, from blonde to brunette. Lost a lot of weight. During some video calls, I investigated dark circles under my eyes.

We went from video calls to phone calls. No information but only Maria Clara telling me that she misses her and asking me when I will go to visit. I insisted on video connection, Maria said yes when you have time. I told him that I have time.

I want to see my partner. I never had contact. The only contact was a video but never a conversation. In that video that I accepted, he told me that he loves us very much. What bothered me the most was jealousy. At one point when Maria told me that she was late at the market, he got irritated. She told me like something funny, no reason to be jealous. But she was very attractive girl. I told him that jealousy for no reason should not be normal.

I told him to let me know if anything was going on so I could leave and take him home. I was also bothered by the fact that she quit her job. She has always worked in Argentina, in Barcelona. That's because he told him he doesn't need to. It could work for both. In Argentina, girls and women work and do not depend on a partner. This worried me a lot", she said in an interview for Kosova Today.
