It seems that the Serbs of northern Kosovo will not give up their opposition to the new mayors elected in the 4 northern municipalities, in a process that was boycotted by the Serbian side.

Hundreds of Serbs have gathered again in the squares in front of the municipal buildings, where the day before there were violent clashes between protesters and KFOR forces, where at least 25 of them were injured.

In Zveçan, Zubin-Potok and Leposaviq, Tuesday marks the third day of protests that seem to not stop despite international appeals.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Zveçan, Ilir Peci, declared in the early hours of the morning that he will go to the office to continue his work, assisted by KFOR troops.

A day ago, the embassies of the countries of Quint came out with a joint statement, where they said that the violence must be stopped, as a solution they also found the possibility that the new mayors of the municipalities would not do their daily work in these buildings.

Meanwhile, President Vucic calls everything a provocation by Prime Minister Kurti to involve Serbia in a conflict with NATO.

The violence of the previous day was condemned by the entire political spectrum left and right in Albania, which demanded that the solution to the disputes between Kosovo and Serbia be solved only through dialogue mediated by the EU.
