New details are learned from the plan discovered in Kosovo for the physical elimination of the head of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, and some other senior politicians.

According to the media in Kosovo, the assassination plan was discovered by German security agencies. It has already been confirmed by the police authorities of Kosovo, who have disclosed details about the incident.

"The Kosovo Police, in this case the competent Directorate of the KP, has undertaken all the necessary police actions related to the case/threat in question. All further police actions will be taken in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies", said a representative of the police in Pristina.

The local media have reported that the threat was denounced by the German security bodies, after they had come across a wiretapping where there is talk of an assassination attempt directly on the chairman of the LDK and the deputies of this party.

It is thought that the organization of the assassination had political motives.

In addition to the head of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, the targets of the assassination would be the deputies Abdullah Hoti, former prime minister, Armend Zemaj and Arben Gashi.
