Queen Elizabeth is under medical supervision at Balmoral due to health problems.

It was the doctors who requested that the queen be under the care of doctors, as they were worried about her health.

The news was announced by the Royal Palace as it clarified that "after further assessment this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned about Her Majesty's health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision".

The announcement comes after the Queen, 96, pulled out of a virtual Privy Council after doctors advised she should rest.

Regarding this news, Prime Minister Liz Truss also reacted, who wrote in a post on social networks that the whole country is worried about the news.

"My thoughts and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time," she said.
