Accused of murdering his wife Liridona Ademaj two years ago, defendant Naim Murseli confessed his version in today's court session, swearing on behalf of the children that he was not present at the time of the crime.

He said he did not make any agreement to kill his wife Liridona Ademaj.

"There was no agreement to kill Liridona," he said.

He also emphasized that he and the children were not in the car at the time of the murder.

"I swear on my two children that I was not in the car when Liridona Ademaj was killed, neither I nor the children, I was at least 20 meters away," he said.

Murseli further expressed his innocence, denying conflicts in the couple.

"Liridona and I got engaged in 2010 and got married on December 11, 2011, which means I have been married to Liridona for 12 years and as a result of that marriage we have two children, and my relationship with Liridona has been very good, happy. Liridona has been a wonderful woman, a devoted mother and a devoted wife. We have lived in Sweden where Liridona, after 3 years of residence, also became a Swedish citizen, as a result of our marriage," he said.
