US President Donald Trump says his country "may not even do anything" unless a peace agreement is reached between Russia and Ukraine.
From his White House office, Trump said the decision is up to him on how he will respond to Russia, whether with massive sanctions, massive tariffs, both together, or doing nothing.
"I will have to make a decision. It could be massive sanctions, massive fees, or both. Or I can make a decision that we will not do anything. I can also say that it is not our war. We had nothing to do with this war. Young boys are dying every day.
I solved the problem in Congo, which had been happening for 31 years. The heads of the people there were beheaded with machetes. People said he will put us in the war, not I will get them out of the war. We will see if they will have a meeting. In two weeks I will know, if he goes to the meeting, and if he doesn't go, why didn't he go," Trump declared.
