The Ambassador of the European Union in Albania, Christiane Hohmann, through a post on social networks, writes that this Tuesday she chaired the last meeting of the Heads of EU Missions in Tirana.
She expressed, among other things, in her reaction that it has been a privilege for her to work with all the EU staff to support our country's journey towards the European Union.
"Today I chaired my last meeting of EU Heads of Missions in Tirana. It has been a privilege for me to work with everyone to support Albania on its way to the European Union. Together, the European Union and its member states are committed to standing by Albania until the accession to the European Union", writes Hohmann.
Hohmann will leave our country at the end of her first year of work as a representative of Brussels in Tirana.
Christiane Hofmann will go as Germany's ambassador to Iraq, leaving the diplomatic service of the European Union, to return as part of Berlin's diplomacy.
