The Embassy of Ukraine in London has already started preparations for a visit of the new Prime Minister of Great Britain, Liz Truss, to Kiev, according to a statement by the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Vadim Prystaiko.
"When she officially becomes prime minister, I think Liz Truss's visit to Kiev will not be late. Already we as a diplomatic system have started preparing for the arrival of Lis Truss in Kiev", said Pristaiko.
The Ukrainian ambassador also noted that he welcomed the Truss statement about the readiness to use nuclear weapons if necessary.
"Russia received a strong message. "Liz Truss understands very well and our Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has reminded her that Britain is one of those countries that has promised to protect Ukraine," the ambassador said.
