Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared a ceasefire to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, the Kremlin announced.

" According to the decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on the basis of humanitarian considerations, during the days of the 80th anniversary of the Victory - from midnight between May 7-9 to midnight on May 10-11, the Russian side declared an all-out invasion operation ," the Kremlin statement said.
