Two people were killed and five others were injured in the shooting outside a court in Istanbul. Two perpetrators, a man and a woman, opened fire in the courtyard of the Çaglayan Court, killing two and injuring five, including three police officers, around noon, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said.

"There was an attempt to attack the checkpoint in front of Istanbul's Çaglayan court. "The 2 attackers were killed and 5 people were injured, including 3 police officers," said the Turkish minister.

Police prevented an attack on a security checkpoint at the court, which was allegedly the target of the attack.
