Former Miss Ecuador, Landy Párraga

Landy Párraga , former Miss Ecuador and model, was shot dead inside a restaurant in the La Cuadra shopping center.

Párraga was eating breakfast when the killers entered and shot him several times until he died. Landy Párraga's name appeared in the "Metastasis" case.

The model was staying with her partner and was apparently about to leave the restaurant, when two people entered, writes El Universo.

One of them approached and directly shot the model, who was wearing a light blue T-shirt and white shorts.


He shot her and after she fell to the ground he continued to shoot her. He then also shot the companion of the former beauty queen who was by his side.

The second assassin who was by the door took a few steps closer and also tried to shoot Parraga. The killing was recorded on the business's security cameras.

The former beauty queen was mentioned in the conversations between the drug trafficker Leandro Norero and his lawyer Helive Angulo, which were published in the "Metastasis" case, for which there are several arrestees.

In those conversations, Norero's lawyer told her she was allegedly being controlled by an importer. Norero had allegedly said that this importer was not hers and that she could not appear to be associated with him.

Further, according to the conversations, she had known him with several generals and a former speaker of the Assembly.
