The opinion in Kosovo was shocked yesterday, after the publication of a video, where a teacher of Physical Education, Valentin Selmanaj appeared kissing a minor student on the lips, the citizen with the initials EM, only 12 years old

The director of the "Lidhja e Prizren" school in Deçan, where the incident took place, spoke today on the show "Albania LIVE". He said that his parents sent him the video, and he immediately confronted the teacher.

The director says that the student who filmed the footage showed that he had seen it other times and made the video to prove it, because no one would believe him. Further, he said that the 12-year-old is known as a good girl with excellent results in lessons.

I have had no information whether this person has such abusive elements. The student who filmed it said that I filmed it because I knew that if I told you, no one would believe me. He said I have seen them before. I wanted to prove it, he told me.

He has returned from Shengjin with us to Kosovo. I told him that he can be arrested either at the border or in Kosovo. I told him that the act he committed is a criminal act. He hasn't spoken at all. He was arrested after he went home. I have not spoken to the girl. I had my parents here today. There is a trauma. I hope that he will return to school tomorrow as his birthday is tomorrow. She is an excellent girl, among the best with her results. The case is difficult for the family. I hope that with the help of his peers he will pass it" - said the director.
