Three doctors of the Prizren hospital have been arrested by the police, after a parent reported the loss of his newborn baby.

According to the police, it was learned that a man, whose identity is not disclosed, informed that after the birth of his wife, after a few minutes, the baby died and he suspects that this was a consequence of the lack of proper treatment by the medical staff.

According to the police report, the incident happened on Tuesday.

"By the decision of the prosecutor, the lifeless body of the baby was sent to the IML for an autopsy, while three Kosovar male suspects (doctors) were arrested and taken into custody," the Police informed.

The case has been described as "Unconscionable medical treatment".
