On the 18th anniversary of independence, a "Justice, Not Politics" march will be held in Pristina today, organized by the "Freedom Has a Name" platform.
According to the organizers, a massive participation is expected that could exceed 200 thousand citizens from all Albanian regions.
This demonstration aims to express the stance against the judicial process against former KLA leaders and will be a peaceful and inclusive gathering, with the demand for impartial justice.
Police units, firefighters, and emergency structures have been engaged to ensure the smooth running of the rally, while organized bus transportation from all municipalities is expected to facilitate the arrival of citizens in the capital.
This march is being held at a time when the closing statements process in the trial of the KLA four is continuing in The Hague. Yesterday was the sixth day of closing statements, while the process will continue tomorrow.
The defense of the accused argued that there is no evidence for the alleged crimes, while the Prosecution requested that they be found guilty.
After the closing statements, the case will be forwarded to the jury.
