Albulena Haxhiu mandates Albin Kurti to form the new Kosovo Government

Albulena Haxhiu has mandated Albin Kurti to form the new Government, after the Vetëvendosje Movement officially proposed its leader for the position of Prime Minister.

Kurti must now present to the Assembly the governing program and the composition of the new cabinet, which will be subject to a vote by MPs.

Vetëvendosje has declared that it has 62 votes to form a government, one more than the minimum of 61 votes needed to approve the new cabinet.
