Agolli of the Development Fund "helps" Alabbari with 6 million euros to fill the coast with sand?!

The project of the Albanian Development Fund to fill the coast of Durrës with sand seems to serve Mohamed Alabbar 's "EMAAR" company more .

For some time, the construction of apartments, restaurants, bars and hotels have started in the territory of the Port of Durrës, where the Albanian government has negotiated with the company from the United Arab Emirates to give them the entire plot.

In the project, it seems quite clear that the entire territory of the Port of Durrës, where "Durrës Yacht & Marina" is being built, will be filled with sand and beaches will be created.

Meanwhile, in parallel with these constructions, the Albanian Development Fund has opened a tender worth 6 million euros to fill a part of the coast in Durrës with sand.

There are doubts that the project is a "help" that the head of this institution, the much talked about Dritan Agolli , is giving to Alabbari.

After the "forgiveness" of the land, the "aid" to the company from the Emirates is already being carried out on the ground, where the entire coast is being prepared to help this project.

 But, instead of those investments being private, since all the service units or apartments are being sold, the investments are being made by the state.

According to the documents available to VoxNews, the Albanian Development Fund has opened the tender with the object "intervention for urban regeneration, marine protection in the coastal area".

In the documents, it is written that the re-profiling and sand filling of the coastline from Dajlani Bridge to Godina e Kavalishensce, Durrës is required.

The fund of the whole procedure is 583,323,833 ALL without VAT, as the financing of this facility is provided for in the budget programs for the period 2024-2026. The document states that the duration of the works is 12 months, while the tender will be finalized on December 13, 2024.

But what is planned to be done in that area?!

VoxNews browsed the accompanying documents, where it is written that the coast of Durrës south of the Port to the end of the new promenade at the Kavalishënsë building.

"In the Port of Durres area, an investment known as Durres Yacht Marina is being developed, which also aims to create a new coastal area. Near this investment, the sandy area of ??the seashore is very reduced and has a width of 15 to 20 meters," these documents state.

So, it is quite clear that the investment is a "support" for the Alabbari project!

The Development Fund writes in the documents that it is intended for the area to have a new look.

"The object of this report is the description of the complete rehabilitation of a strip with an extension of about 3168 meters along the area that will be reached through the works, which will be carried out through an artificial replenishment of the beach", says the Fund.

And where will the new project's layout be?

Agolli writes in the accompanying documents that "the structure presented by the project 'Durres Yaht Marina' is taken from the project ideas realized in the first stages of the development of this project".

These areas are divided into 3 parts, the first from the border of the Port of Durrës to the new school, the second from the school to "Hawai Beach Bar". And the third area up to the end of the new promenade near Kavalishënce.
