Even before entering the job market, many young Albanians are thinking like entrepreneurs and innovators. Driven by curiosity and the desire to try new ideas, students are bringing projects that touch on technology, business and how to address everyday challenges. Ideas that 'tomorrow' could impact the way business is done in Albania.

This spirit was also reflected during the “Young Innovators 2026” activity, the competition organized by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tirana. For the seventh year, One Albania joined the competition as a partner, supporting students and their ideas.

Dozens of young people became part of this edition. The most promising projects were presented before a jury of professionals and industry representatives. From the first idea to the final presentation, the entire journey was built to bring young innovators as close as possible to the real dynamics of entrepreneurship. An experience that confronted them with the challenges, uncertainties and opportunities that this process brings.

In appreciation of the winning project, One Albania donated laptops to all members of the group. A symbolic support, to convey a clear message: young people's ideas have value and deserve support.

The Director of Group Finance at One Albania, Brikena Hysi, who presented the awards to the winners, said:

“Every time I hear young people presenting their ideas, I am convinced that Albania’s greatest potential is its people. In fact, in any economy that seeks to grow and remain competitive, the most important investment is not only in infrastructure or technology, but in people and their ideas. When I see students coming with concrete solutions, with the courage to challenge traditional ways of thinking and with the desire to build something of their own, I see a generation that has real potential to transform the future of the country. Albania needs more spaces that foster innovation and entrepreneurship among young people, because that is where the sustainable development of a modern economy begins. This competition showed us once again that this generation seeks to create, not just follow.”

For years, One Albania has supported initiatives that give voice to the energy, creativity and ambition of young people. The telecommunications leader remains committed to innovation, digital inclusion and the development of a more connected and modern society.
