In 4 months, foreigners and immigrants "throw" 86 million euros in

Foreigners and Albanian immigrants with foreign citizenship have invested nearly 86 million euros in the purchase of real estate in the first 4 months of this year alone. Of high interest are coastlines throughout the country.

Real estate experts say that more importance should be given to infrastructure investments in mountainous areas, in order to diversify the investment portfolio.

On the other hand, real estate agencies ask the government to revise the real estate transaction tax, which is currently at 15 percent, with the argument that it encourages informality by leaving out of the budget about 38 percent of the income.
