In addition to the recently inaugurated road, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Enkeleda Muça informed the Economy Committee that the contracts for the other 3 segments are expected to be signed after the winners have been announced.
"The Milot-Thumane segment has been declared the winner and we are in the contract negotiation phase. For Milot-Balldrenin, we are in a procedural phase for the selection of the design, construction, operation, maintenance and transfer of the segment. For Balldren-Muriqani, we are in the feasibility study phase. Regarding the segment Kashar-Pezë-Lekaj, the winner has been announced, we are in the negotiation phase and very soon the work will start, and for Lekaj-Fier, the winner has been announced and we are in the negotiation phase. All will have an alternative path because we are in Public Private Partnership. They will have the same formula as Thumanë-Kashar, and they will have a concession. They will be tolled, but there will always be an alternative road in use" , Muça said.
For the three axes that have been declared the winners of the concessions, the investment value is 839.4 million euros, and for the three projects the concession period is 35 years.
So, the Milot-Balldren axis with a length of 13.5 km will cost 44.6 million euros without VAT and will be built by the temporary merger of the companies "Gener 2", "Illyrian Consulting Engineers" and "IDK-Construktion".
On the other hand, the Kashar-Pezë-Lekaj axis, with a length of 26.6 kilometers and a cost of 474.8 million euros without VAT, will be built by Gjoka Konstruksion" sh.a, "Junik" sh.pk, "Cobial" sh.pk "Pepa Group ” sh.pk, “UDHA” sh.pk “Geoportal” sh.pk and “A&E Engineering” sh.pk
Likewise, the Lekaj-Fier axis with a length of 46 km will cost 320 million euros. This road will be built by the merger of several businesses, mainly "Fusha" sh.pk and "Agbes Construction", "Albavia" sh.pk "Kupa" sh.pk, "Ante-Group", "Klodioda" sh.pk, "ALTEA & Geostudio 2000" and "Sphaera" sh.pk
