The Albanian Road Authority has re-announced the winning company that will carry out the reconstruction of the old Kombinat - Ndroq - Plepa road. With an offer of ALL 567.75 million, without VAT, the works on lot 1 of the road will be carried out by the merger of the operators "ARIFAJ" and "EUROKOS HOLDING", branch in Albania. The tender, with a limited fund of about 755 million ALL, was opened in April of this year, but after the announcement of the winner, 2 economic operators participating in the competition, filed a complaint with the Public Procurement Commission, showing objections to the process of evaluating the offers. After considering the complaints, KPP requested the re-evaluation for one of the operators, which in any case does not change the final result for the companies that will perform the works.

The reconstruction of the Kombinat - Ndroq - Plepa road comes at a time with the works that will be carried out for the expansion of the Tirana - Durrës highway, serving as an alternative to access the coastal city and vice versa.

Even for the highway, the tender was held and the winning companies were announced, as its expansion in the first 5 km will cost about 2.87 billion ALL, excluding VAT.
