A few days after starting the interrogation of the members of the commission for granting concessions related to "Sterilization", the Special Prosecution has received the PPP file of the Check-up.

Sources for VoxNews suggest that 4 hospitals have not responded to the Anti-Corruption Structure regarding this issue. The hospitals did not provide any information by not bringing the documents for the services performed, their quantities and the payments made to the concessionaires who won the tender.

According to information from the investigative group, they have until the end of this week to return the answer, and if such a thing does not happen then they will face justice.

We recall that SPAK has registered the criminal report filed by the initiative "Thurje" for inclusion in the concession of sterilization service of surgical instruments in public hospitals since January 16, 2020. Since the beginning of this year SPAK and GJKKO have launched investigations into corruption at levels low where dozens of people were involved.

Sterilization of medical equipment and Check Up is expected to cause trouble for the officials of the Ministry of Health who are involved in abuses, violating the law and misappropriating Albanian taxpayers' money.

It is learned that investigations into these two important files extend beyond 2019, even until 2015, in order to reveal the officials involved in the abuses.
