Steven Hunt

Police in the south-east city of Bristol, along with several NCA officers, knocked on Steven Hunt's door on Saturday morning.

It was 2:30 a.m. when he was handcuffed based on the Interpol Red Card.

Steven Hunt, 49 years old, is requested to be extradited to Albania as part of the observation team in the collaborative murder of Ardian Nikulaj on April 19 in Shengjin.

Tch brings up Steven Hunt's criminal past. Steven Hunt, resident of Bristol, was not an unknown name to the local police of Avon and Somerset.

His history of low-level crime dates back to 1999 when Bristol Magistrates Court sentenced him to 18 months in prison, suspended, for criminal damage and abusive behaviour.

The same court in 2005 gave him a sentence through counseling for "opposing and resisting" police arrest.

Also, his criminal file shows that in October 2014 he was fined by the court for violently resisting arrest because he was drunk.

It is learned that Steven Hunt is the father of two children aged 18 and 15. In the past he worked as a truck driver and at the time of his arrest he was unemployed.

When he appeared at an extradition court in London Steven Hunt offered a financial guarantee of £1,000 through his lawyer to be released on bail. Judge Neeta Minhas rejects the bail application.

Steven Hunt, Edmond Haxhia and Thomas Mithan will appear before the extradition court again on Friday 5 May.
