The person you see in the picture above is the Portuguese Ruben Saraiva. The footage of the amateur video that you see below was shot in one of Shkodra's bars. The filming was done just a few days before the businessman Ardian Nikulaj was executed in Shengjin.
The Portuguese, announced as an international wanted man, is seen laughing with several other people. He speaks Albanian and uses a banal vocabulary, with swear words that those around him teach him.
Police investigations revealed that he had entered Albania since February 14 and stayed in Shkodër and Lezhë with Edmond Haxhina until April 19, when he executed 50-year-old Nikulaj.
A girl, who had a relationship with Haxhija, said that Saraiva was based in Haxhija's house in Kakarriq of Lezha, but also frequented Shkodra.
Saraiva and Harry Simson are the only two people on the run out of the 6 wanted. Edmond Haxhia, Stephen Hunt, Tomas Mithan and Harriet Bridgeman were arrested in London, in different areas, on Saturday 29 April.
The Albanian authorities have started the extradition procedures and the first court hearing will be in London on May 5. According to the procedures, the decision must be given within 45 days.
Sources from the investigative group announced that searches for Saraiva and Simson are also taking place in Italy. In the meantime, it is learned that the Nikulaj family will not pursue this case privately, as it has renounced self-judgment and has removed the Haxhia family from the trial, leaving this matter to justice./Tv Klan
