Lawyer Ylli Manjnani stated today on Top Channel that parliament has failed to fulfill its function by failing to conduct a detailed analysis of how justice reform has progressed in the decade since the vote.
He said that investigative files are being abused by prosecutors and suggested that parliament pass a legal amendment as soon as possible stating that the sole responsibility for releasing investigative secrets lies with the prosecutor of the file.
Manjani also stated that for a long time the political class has avoided confronting the balance of the work of the new judiciary by engaging in side discussions that overlook the essence of the problem, which is the abuse of procedure and the law by this judiciary.
