Both worked in a publishing house in Tirana when they met for the first time. It was the place where love was born, the fruit of which would later be 1 boy and 1 girl, today 4 and 2 years old. Migena Sinani (Kodra), 37 years old, and Erjon Sinani, 45 years old, were a happy couple, who, amidst the troubles and problems, were managing little by little to build a life with their little ones.

But another fate was reserved for both of them. When there were only 5 days left for his wife to turn 37 and they were going to celebrate like any other birthday, a phone call shortly after 04:00 in the morning of April 8, would shock Erjon. Migena had been killed. Like every night, he worked until the morning hours as a taxi driver to make ends meet. The drama for the 45-year-old would deepen when he was told that the author of the event was his brother, Roland Sinani, who after the barbaric act went out to the courtyard of the apartment and shot himself below the jaw with a bullet.

In Migena's family in Lundre, the mortuary doors have been opened. Report TV met closely with the family members, who were shocked by the event. Off-camera, they said that for some time the couple had not spoken to Roland, even though they lived in the same apartment, because of the conflicts caused by mental health problems.

Rolandi's family members, including his brother, Erjon, and his parents, Gëzim and Iqbale Sinani, told the investigators that his psychological condition in the last few days had worsened, he could no longer bear the noises and cries of the children in the house. The investigators suspect that the cry of the little 2-year-old girl, who has been sick and with a fever in recent days, led the 44-year-old to undertake the tragic act.

I woke up around 3:00 am on Saturday morning to find Roland lying on the couch in the hallway. I asked him to go and sleep in the room. After that I lay down again and when I was about to fall asleep I heard a gunshot and I quickly went out into the corridor. There I saw Roland who told me "I killed him!" I entered the bride's room and took the girl who was on the bed and informed the husband. After two minutes, another gunshot was heard. Rolandi had killed himself in the backyard,' said Rolandi's mother, Ikbale Sinani.

Gëzim Sinani, Roland's father, was also questioned. The man was contradictory in his answer, but the investigators suspect that this happened because he suffers from sclerosis. However, they are waiting for expertise to see if the pistol that was found behind the house was taken there after the event by the head of the family or not. The two seniors told investigators they had no idea Roland had a gun without a permit.

Erjon Sinani declared before the investigators that the conflicts with his brother were due to his mental health problems, the reason why the two were not separated as he needed care. He even showed that he had started to collect money to build a new house, a bigger environment where they could all live together.
