A 58-year-old man was fined in Tirana, after he was caught pulling a kid with a car.

The police informs that the driver of the vehicle was found to be without a driving license as well as having deficiencies in the necessary documentation for traffic.

The 58-year-old was fined and criminally prosecuted.

Reaction of DVP Tirana Regarding a video posted on portals, in which a citizen is shown pulling an animal, with a vehicle, we clarify that:

The services of the Traffic Police Commissariat, after the release of the footage, immediately started the verifications for the identification of the driver of the vehicle.

The verifications showed that the driver of the vehicle, citizen Xh. M., 58 years old, was driving the vehicle without a driving license and had deficiencies in the necessary documentation for traffic.

At the end of the actions for this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office and the criminal proceedings for the citizen Xh. M. Also, an administrative measure was imposed on this citizen based on the Highway Code, for the deficiencies in the vehicle's documentation.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate thanks the media and citizens who denounce all cases of illegality and invites them again to denounce the toll-free number 112 .
