Selling drugs to teenagers near schools, 22-year-old arrested in Dibër

A 22-year-old man suspected of distributing narcotics to school teenagers was arrested today.

Dibra Police announced that they arrested the suspect with the initials LK.

Police announcement:

"During the operation, the Police services caught the suspect red-handed in the "Nazmi Rushiti" neighborhood and arrested citizen LK, 22 years old, resident of Peshkopi, in an attempt to sell doses of cannabis. During the physical search of him, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis was found, divided into doses, ready for sale, as well as a sum of money, which is suspected to have been benefited from this criminal activity. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action," the official announcement states.

The targets of drug sales were mainly teenagers.

"The services of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Force, after several days of field investigations, have provided information about a citizen who was selling the narcotic cannabis to teenagers," the police explained.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action.
