Marine Tali Muça, 26 years old, from Albania, lost his life after a serious accident on the A21 road, colliding with a truck.

The footballer, who had played with various teams in the amateur categories of Italian football, most recently with Sale, was a driver on a daily basis for a company in Tortona.

The vehicle he was traveling in collided with a lorry on Wednesday at dinner and he was rushed to hospital in Parma, where he unfortunately failed to win the all-important match.

Passionate about football, he was known above all in the sports circles of the Tortona area, having played as a midfielder in the youth teams of Derthona, then in Garbagna, in 'Audax Orione San Bernardino.

After the pandemic, at Sale, with whom he had won the play-off to climb from the Second Division to the First Division last year. His own club has shared the news on the official page on "Facebook", where it expresses condolences to the family of the deceased.
