A 42-year-old woman has been extradited from Spain to our country.

Marjana Gjona  has been sentenced by the Pogradec Court to 7 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Fraud", with serious consequences.

Police announcement:

Following the consolidated cooperation between specialists from the Interpol Directorate and their counterparts in Spain and Germany, the extradition procedures for the following were finalized within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation:

-from Spain, to Albania, of citizen Marjana Gjona , 42 years old, who was sentenced in 2019, by the Pogradec Judicial District Court, to 7 years in prison, for the criminal offense of "Fraud", with serious consequences;

-from Albania, to Germany, of citizen Metehan Tutuncu, 26 years old, who was sentenced by the Court of Aschaffenburg, Germany, in 2023, to 6 years and 6 months in prison, for drug trafficking.
