Prime Minister Edi Rama today selected Klodiana Spahiu as the successor to Evis Sala, at the head of the Ministry of Health.

After this step, Spahiu herself reacted, thanking the head of government for the trust, while saying that she will work to advance every commitment at the head of this institution.

"First of all, thanks to Prime Minister Edi Rama for the trust given in my proposal as Minister of Health and Social Welfare. Very grateful and with great desire to move forward with every commitment."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama has sent Klodiana Spahiu's name to the presidency, where it is expected to be decreed by President Bajram Begaj.

Next, Spahiu's name will be forwarded to parliament, where it will be voted on in a plenary session.

After approval in the Assembly, Klodiana Spahiu takes the oath and officially assumes the position of Minister of Health.
